Simplo Invoice is operated by Simplo Software Systems, Melbourne, Australia. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information we collect

When you create an account and use Simplo Invoice, we collect:

• Your email address and account credentials
• Business details you enter including your business name, address, phone number, and tax number
• Invoice, quote, client, expense, and task data you create within the app
• Country, currency, and tax settings you configure
• Payment and subscription status information

We do not collect payment card details. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the Simplo Invoice service
• Send invoices and quotes to your clients on your behalf
• Process subscription payments
• Respond to support requests

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Third party services

Simplo Invoice uses the following third party services to operate:

• Supabase — database and authentication. Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers in Sydney, Australia.
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment link processing. Stripe handles all card data. We never see or store your card details.
• Anthropic — AI-assisted invoice creation. When you use the AI features, your job description text is sent to Anthropic's API to generate line items or rewrite notes. We do not send client names or personal details to Anthropic.
• Resend — transactional email delivery for invoice emails sent through the app.

4. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data including invoices, clients, expenses, and settings is permanently deleted within 30 days.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings within the app.

5. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to your data is protected by authentication and row-level security policies.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request a copy of your data or raise a privacy concern, contact us at support@simplo.com.au.

7. Children

Simplo Invoice is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by a notice within the app.
